About Sabīne.

I'm a media literacy specialist and content developer with over ten years of combined experience in journalism, disinformation research and audience engagement. My work focuses on developing practical, user-centric solutions that address misinformation and support quality journalism.

As a curriculum developer and trainer, I've contributed to media literacy tools (Mobile Stories and VeryVerified.eu) that have reached over 10,000 students across Europe. My background includes disinformation reporting, fact-checking throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, content development for media literacy tools and user experience, which informs my approach to creating educational content for diverse audiences.

Currently, I serve as the User Experience Manager at News Decoder, where I lead the content development of media literacy tool Mobile Stories for young journalists. This role combines my passion for empowering individuals to navigate the complex media landscape with my skills in content creation. I also work as a freelance journalist, mainly for Estonia's most popular newspaper Postimees. In the past, I have worked with diverse media formats as a journalist - print, online, radio and TV.

I'm particularly interested in projects that merge content strategy, audience engagement and practical problem-solving in the realm of media literacy and disinformation resilience. My experience spans developing educational programs, crafting content strategies and assisting user research to improve media trust. I'm committed to creating tangible solutions that positively impact how people consume and interact with information.

I'm always open to connecting with others who share an interest in using media literacy and audience engagement to foster a more informed society.
